Shabbat menu
Dec. 8th, 2006 03:31 pm- grape juice, homemade flatbreads (plain)
- stuff to go with bread: olives, hummus, roasted garlic
- curried parsnip soup
- red chard sauteed with garlic
- baked butternut squash (this was going to be something more exciting, but I didn't find the puff pastry in time)
- green salad, the fancy one I made Tuesday
- roasted orange and red carrots with ginger
- black and red bean salad with corn, tomatoes, plus cayenne, cumin, hot pepper sauce, and hot pepper oil
- Greek-syle maple-pecan rice pudding, with pizzelle as garnish
