With thanks to Theora, since I couldn't find the van in the lot before Shabbat. She also gave me an idea of how the box contents vary, with different lettuces or types of potatoes, and so on.

• a bag of red-skinned potatoes (four pounds?)
  
• six Shanghai pak choi
  
• a bag of mesclun (perhaps a pound?)
  
• two medium green leaf lettuces
  
• two butternut squashes
  
• five green-top turnips, one very large
  
• seven largish parsnips
  
• two heads of garlic
  
• four biggish red onions
  
• thirteen orange carrots of varying size
  
• (a bunch of cilantro, that happily never made it to my house)
