I stopped at the farmer's market by the Science Center on the way home today. I kept meaning to stop earlier in the year, but with the regular Wednesday infusions of produce, it never seemed to happen. Of course, this was the last one of the year.
They had the usual things, produce, cheeses, flowers, baked goods. And chocolate.
Not just any chocolate, but single origin cocoa beans, processed in Somerville (some roasted, or stone ground), by a new company, Taza Chocolate. The stuff looks amazing. And they've also arranged with the Mariposa Bakery (424 Mass Ave, Central Square) to have Thursday evenings (7:30-11) be for chocolate tastings (they're calling them lounges), starting this past month.
Huzzah for local business :-)
And wholly off topic, a fraction-based prime number generator.
