Boston Organics
Oct. 25th, 2006 08:48 pmJust Boston Organics... I miss the farm share.
Small box (I forgot to switch to large), part fruit.
And a dozen eggs. But no newsletter again. I don't know why they so often forget this.
I'm glad to have the allium infusion, but I want some more 'main' vegetables. Right now, I think the zukes will be roasted with some onions to go into yet another turkey meatloaf, the cuke will be saladized, and the chard will turn into a vegetable pie. I can bake the sweet potatoes, but I'd really like another vegetable dish. Hrm. I still have gobs of cabbage I should use, plus carrots and last week's baby bok choy. Perhaps some kind of stir fry, and/or cabbage with sausage (and apple, but I'd need to get some apples). Plus I should figure out what I'm doing with all these oranges. A couple can go into cranberry relish, but not as many as all this. Perhaps plum-orange jam/marmalade?
And, courtesy of Treacle_well, I have three lemons too.
