wore them for the first time in, oh, 13 years or so. in some ways it was odd (skirts are really comfortable. i don't notice how cloth fits across my legs in them, for one thing.), and in others it was odd how strange it wasn't (biking places and visiting people while wearing biking clothes in the last months helped. though this was different, a choice made not for safety.).
i felt a bit younger, somehow. (and the nice compliments from friends were definitely appreciated :-).

thanks. the sweater had been my aunt helen's, and i still think of her when i wear it, though i don't think i ever saw her in it.
