Awful news: two Israeli soldiers, Ehud Goldvasser, 31, from Nahariya, and Eldad Regev, 26, from Kiryat Motzkin (a Haifa suburb, were abducted, apparently to force their exchange for terrorists in Israeli jails. The situation has escalated, with rockets landing on a number of settlements in the north, and even in Haifa. Israel has retaliated with rockets to Lebanon, hitting airports as well as other sites. CNN has a somewhat chronologically confusing article.

How can the cycle be stopped? I don't know. I just wish for peace and a safe return of the hostages.
