magidI went to a contact improv jam Sunday. Lots of fun, and feeling both strong (lifting someone) and supported (being carried). Plus just plain silliness. I suspect I'll be going back some weekends. (And a decent workout, too; I can still feel sore muscles, but in just the right "here I am" sort of way, not "you did too much and now you shall pay, muhahahaha!" sort of way.)
Plus, still walking to Rivendell, likely reaching the edges of Farmer Maggot's fields tonight.
I made a very straightforward winter hat with more of the yarn Hrafn gave me; I'm surprised at how much positive comment it's gotten. Another is in progress, then that yarn will be used up, so I get to figure out what I'm interested in crocheting next.
(And it's time to think yet again about getting a sewing machine, since I find myself with talented sewing friends who are willing to teach someone who has, for all intents and purposes, not sewn anything. This is especially crucial since I haven't been finding skirts I like, so I could make some instead, and not waste all that time and energy shopping (Er, except, I'd have to shop for fabric and a pattern. Theoretically, this would be less of a pain, and at least I'd not have to try anything on..).)
