Farm share, week 13

This week's share included:

• a pound of peppers (all sweet, some bell, some long. I got a variety of colors, red, yellow, and purple.)
  
• a head of celery or of fennel (I got fennel.)
  
• a head of garlic
  
• 1.2 pounds of onions (yellow or red. I got all yellow.)
  
• a head of green leaf lettuce
  
• a bunch of cilantro (I gave it away at the distribution.)
  
• 2.25 pounds of potatoes (mostly red skinned, but I found a couple of purple ones, too)
  
• 2 pounds of tomatoes (I got a huge Striped German, and two small red tomatoes. There were Striped Zebras, too.)
  
• a bunch of kale (I got dinosaur)

I'm slightly disappointed that there was neither winter squash nor melon. Or more arugula :-).

My delivery had yellow squash and melon. I'd have traided you for the cilantro!

I'm still sad that you can't eat cilantro.

Now, if you'd been someone local, I'd've loved to have traded cilantro for something I eat...

I don't miss cilantro, anyway (sort of like how all those kids in school couldn't believe I didn't miss all those traif things I've never had), though I know it's kinda wonderful for most other people.
