I was thinking of either an adjective or noun for the person once more attractive. Definitely not an adjective for first meeting. Having a noun for the phenomenon would be good, too (it would be an interesting lexical gap if there were a word for the person (noun or adjective), but not for the phenomenon). I think of it as the amelioration process, myself.
