megillah reading, with funny voices and sound effects (though the frustration of trying to hear over (a) conversation and other general noise, and (b) graggers started a bit too early)
seeing lots of people I didn't expect to see (and some I did :-) (*waves* to a noticeable percentage of my f'list)
announcements of pages in Roman numerals, except for the megillah, which was in Arabic numerals (in the same booklet. And the Arabic numbers started with 4 (no, there weren't only 3 pages before it).)
extreme silliness, most of which has vanished from memory within moments of eating
