Some months ago I finally figured out what to do with some honeyed figs: mix them with ground walnuts, and make a two-crust pie. It was a spur-of-the-moment dessert that turned out excellently.

And I want some. Right. Now.

Which is obviously impossible.

But even were I at home, I have no more honeyed figs. Plus, not at home.

Frustration.

I do have some chestnuts in vanilla syrup. Perhaps I can mash those with ground walnuts and get something good. But it won't be now, which is frustrating. And I have no pie crust (Yes, I know I can make it. I don't, though.). And I already know that Harvest doesn't carry pie crust (or at least, not kosher pie crust), and I shouldn't start making pies late at night when I'll get home anyway.

Phooey.
