Boston Organics delivery
Feb. 2nd, 2005 05:31 pm- four bananas
- a huge head of green leaf lettuce
- a bunch of red chard
- a green pepper (anyone want it?)
- a small head of cauliflower
- six potatoes (a kilo? a kilo and a half?)
- two tomatoes ("salad" tomatoes; they don't look very interesting, but perhaps they'll ripen a bit)
- two navel oranges
- three fuji apples
- a grapefruit (yay!)
- two bosc pears (odd, since not on my list, nor on the box list)
- a container of bee-yoo-tee-full oyster mushrooms! (really, the prettiest ones I've ever seen)
The newsletter mentions that they're going to start delivering 7-grain and whole wheat bread, from Nashoba Brook Bakery. Twould've been cool had they been kosher. They're also starting to deliver Equal Exchange coffees, but that's not nearly so interesting.
Oh, and larger boxes apparently got Meyer lemons this week. Ooh!
