  • green salad with mesclun, pink grapefruit, feta, walnuts, chives (from the porch), black pepper, and balsamic vinaigrette (though I'd thought mustard vinaigrette would be right, but didn't get mustard out and was lazy)

That all sounds amazing (except maybe the beet pickles, but I've never liked beets). It's enough to make me wish I had a kosher kitchen so that I could abduct you and force you to cook the menu above for me. Then again, if I were the type of person who was willing to kidnap you, I'd probably also be the kind of person who wouldn't care about making you cook with trayf equipment.

Hey, I'd be happy to cook for you in your kitchen, as long as you don't force me to eat it :-). And I'd be even happier to cook for you in my kitchen; when are you next in MA?

And if you don't like sweet pickles, you won't like the beet pickles, but if you're ok with them, they're worth trying. (Even someone who doesn't like beets thought that the roasted beet liqueur was decent.)

PS Really, the most complicated part of this was the salad. The rest are pretty straightforward foods, not too many ingredients. Totally replicatable, in other words.
