magidYesterday I got prints of seven rolls of film (thanks for the delivery, Queue). I'd taken two and a half rolls over the weekend, but the rest were just unfortunately aged film from sometime or other; I had no idea what I'd see when I started looking, though I had thoughts of a business trip to Phoenix four years ago.
I was wrong. Most of the photos were from a trip to Israel two and a half years ago, for a friend's wedding. I had forgotten I'd even taken pictures, so it was wonderful to look through them. I couldn't help the "hey, lookit! pictures!" reaction, and ended up showing them to a couple of people who innocently showed up at the Diesel.
Forgotten pieces, gifts suddenly delivered... there are drawbacks to not developing film in a timely fashion (hence the odd wisps in the Israeli sky), but there's a good side to it, too. And I'm pretty pleased with a number of them, some people shots, some architecture, one or two plant ones (and I have evidence that there's a Tabasco Hostel out there!).
