Short takes
Dec. 12th, 2003 12:59 pmThe seal on one of my office windows needs replacing: I got a lot of water on the windowsill yesterday.
Earliest candlelighting of the year: 3:54 pm, this week. Next week it's a whole 2 minutes later.
Tree buds are so soft to the touch, and so unexpected in December.
The rain yesterday made parking a whole lot easier.
I tried the soy 'sausage' that comes in a tube, formed into patties and fried with onions and spinach. It's decent, if a bit messy.
Why would anyone be washing a car during a snow storm? Along with that: why would anyone be walking along my street a couple of days after a snowstorm carrying oars?
edit, 1500
Welcome to pothole season!
Am I the only one who, when hearing "Dido", thinks "Aeneas", not "music"?

I am somewhat embarrassed to admit that my association for "Dido" is "Fido". *shudder*
