Weather forms
Oct. 23rd, 2003 08:25 amWhoever orders the weather seems to have made a typo: October is not the month I expect the first snowfall.
It's beautiful, the kind of slow snow drifting down without wind interference, in huge, multi-flake formations, parachuting together towards the ground. It's disconcerting to see flame-colored tree leaves frosted in snow, different patterns on differently-shaped leaves.
It makes me wonder about seasons overlapping, whether more people would like snow more if they had more daylight to enjoy it in, for instance. And whether this will be a long, hard winter, too.
