[local eating] Winter share (4 of 4)

magidThe Metro Pedal delivery person got to my house around 7:30, half an hour after their official close; I wonder how many more people arranged for delivery Friday due to the truck breakdown.
The loot:
I also got a bulk order: 25 pounds of red beets, 25 pounds of rutabagas, and half a bushel of red onions. The beets and perhaps some onions will be pickled, while the rutabagas will likely be roasted and/or mashed. There might also be batches of caramelized onions, some to be frozen.
I bought a deep winter share, which is two Friday afternoon deliveries per month through March. The difference from the winter share is that part of the delivery will be locally made foods, which I won't necessarily know the kosher status of. Is anyone interested in buying or bartering for whatever I can't use?

- a stalk of Brussels sprouts
- a butternut squash
- four sweet potatoes (one large, three small)
- six pink turnips
- seven medium carrots
- two daikon
- four yellow onions
- two rutabagas
- three red beets
