Despite the current chilliness, the forecast has a chance of rain every day this week. I suppose it's appropriate for April.

For JB, Gangster Teeth, part 5

Apperently there used to be a lot of Somerville neighborhood theaters, which are the focus of an exhibit at the Somerville Museum. Perhaps I shall have more inspiration to make it to this museum.

Pieces of crystallized ginger in a bowl of cereal are ok, but aren't going to replace raisins anytime soon.

I've been meaning to get to the Somerville Museum for some time now. Would you like to go together?

Yes. Though at this point, not until after Passover, if that's ok with you.

Heehee, of course that's okay. I've been "meaning to go" for many many months now. Another few weeks hardly makes much of a difference. :)

With the clocks changing this weekend, it would be feasible as a Friday afternoon thing for me, too (though perhaps you'd be working then).

Wow, the clocks change this weekend? Woohoo!

I couldn't go on a Friday before 5, though. Thursday evening might work, though Saturday would be best, I think. Would you be able to go on Saturdays in general? I don't recall whether or not they charge admission.

Saturdays definitely depend on admission. Thursday evening would work for me, too.

Clocks change this weekend? Hurray, hurray!

I wake up with the sunrise, and I'm currently waking up obscenely early. (5:30 AM). Soon it'll just be insanely early, 6:30 AM! That's the best news I've heard all day, thanks!

(Oh, and I'd be interested in the museum trip, too, if you're gathering people...)

The part about the clocks changing I don't like:
  • "losing" an hour of sleep on a weekend night
  • having to adjust my internal clock (no, that's not 6:30 light, that's 7:30 light, and *I'm about to be late!*)
  • Shabbat was just about at the perfect start/end time, and now it becomes pretty easy Fridays (lots of prep time), but a pain on Saturdays (missing the earlier showing of movies, etc)

OTOH, more light in the late afternoon means it's more likely I'll finally get out for a bike ride, so not all a pain to change :-).

And I hadn't particularly thought of gathering people, per se, but if we actually get our acts together, you're definitely welcome to join us.
