magidBeing dealt not one but two rather perfect Euchre hands, and remembering the second time to go alone, despite already having 8 points.
Finding out that there may be hot tub Euchre in my future. Anyone have very laminated cards?
Joining together to push Volta's car out of the way of the (patient) plow, made trickier by the lack of traction in the dry snow. It's the first car-pushing session I've had this year, surprisingly.
Getting a chance to talk to someone in the "they-might-turn-out-to-be-a-friend" category, the first really decent conversation.
Hearing a story about a completely tattooed woman.
Getting a phone call when I needed one.
Dancing in the kitchen at the tea to a Queen song.
Wishing I were part of a conversation I wasn't in.
Some very nice hugs.
Eating turkey for lots of the weekend, and not being sick of it yet.
Starting to feel like I might someday be a reasonable Mu player, though I'm definitely not there just yet.
Random word bizzarity of the moment: a photo of a sleeping person is a napshot.

Man! The things I miss out on! I really want to get in on this action. I'll start looking for the all-plastic cards (I seem to remember my Dad having a pack of these when I was a kid - you could basically drop one in your beer, fish it out, wipe it off, and keep going . . . )
