When I was heading out to the car this morning, there were some little flakes coming down. Steady, but no real accumulation. By the time I walked into my office, I was surprised to see that the sun was out, the snow now in larger clumps, drifting down, tanning, I suppose. Minutes later, the sun was blotted out by solid gray clouds, and the wind was playing with the snow, tossing the flakes *up* for a while, until the wind changed, and the flakes got smaller, and now it's falling steadily, with just a bit of eastward drift. I wonder how it'll change in the next few minutes.

It'll change a lot, I expect. It was snowing heavily in Malden when I got to the bus stop slightly after 8, then it was sunny and flurrying when I got to work in Allston around 9, then it started snowing in clumps again, and now it's somewhere in between.

Moments ago I could see what appeared to be a full-fledged storm outside. I just turned around and it's sunny and bright and no snow at all falling.

Yup, I just notcied that. What interesting weather!
The sun on the beeches across the street, which have been lightly dusted with snow, is really pretty.

It's definitely one of those "if you don't like it, wait a minute" sort of weather days: now the sun is shining between big puffy clouds blowing east at a fairly good clip, and there's no snow falling anywhere.

"if you don't like it, wait a minute"

That doesn't make it any easier to drive through.

Well, I hear that in your part of the city, people just stop in the middle of traffic... maybe they're just waiting for the weather to change.

If they'd just stop tuning in to those southern hemisphere radio stations in the summer...

Yeah...I commented on that to one of my cow-orkers.

-a, who generally had a "scare the cow-orkers" kind of day.

Er, commenting on the weather was scary for the cow-orkers? What?
