Got garlic?

I bought something unplanned last night; just too unexpected to pass up. In the freezer case, by the veggies, there was a small package with little individually frozen cubes of garlic. Pop one out and use as fresh, no need to defrost. Packaged somewhere in Israel. I couldn't resist. Of course, I'll probably never think to look in the freezer for garlic, so who knows how long it'll stay there...

well, i have a freezer full of pesto... garlic, basil, pesto... it's all good.
until everything starts falling out of the freezer and landing in large frozen blocks on your innocent barefeet.

unfortunately, my landlord's stinginess with the heat forces me to wear socks in the winter.

I have to admit, I like it not-hot in my apartment (though I do try to accommodate guests with different views :-), so I'd not think to keep it warm enough to go barefoot on uncarpeted floors in the winter.

i have no problem with bare feet on a bare floor. i have a problem with a landlord who has the heat on a timer, so it doesn't come on for 6-8 hours at a time. where i can be wearing a tshirt, turtleneck, sweater, and fleece, two layers of pants, and some socks, and still my extremities are blue and it's too cold to be out of bed at 3pm.

Blech. Isn't there some law about being able to control your own heat?
