Spending brownie points

Driving to work this morning on Route 16 westbound, crossing Route 128. I was in the right lane. Some guy was making a left turn onto 16 from the off-ramp, and the traffic in the left lane had slowed to accommodate. This van, however, decided to turn into the right lane, obviously without looking, since I was there. He almost smashed into the driver's side door. I'm lucky I managed to swerve and honk and get his attention before it was worse. Thank goodness for decent brakes, too.
