This week's veggie haul:
In the fish share, it was supposed to be fillets, but again was whole fish (I double-checked when I got home, and this made it four weeks of whole and two of fillet, which isn't the right balance). I had been planning for fillets already done, so wasn't too adventurous once I'd cut them off the cod, putting on some sesame-soy sauce and panko before baking the pieces. I also baked the frame at the same time; the bits will end up in salad sometime this week.
- a bunch of the thinnest scallions ever
- two kohlrabi with greens (I chose large ones, since I'd been pining for them)
- two thin hothouse carrots
- two heads of lettuce (I chose red leaf and romaine)
- a head of escarole
- a bunch of parsley (I chose flat leaf)
- a quarter pound of garlic scapes
- a bunch of kale (I chose lacinato)
- a bunch of beets with greens (where this was three medium beets)
