Not again...
Aug. 27th, 2002 09:56 amI ended up going through some underbrush in some wooded bits Thursday in my quest to tovel a new frying pan. Apparently this was not a good idea: I now have some sort of rash on my lower legs. No idea what it is, other than itchy. I suppose it's time to get an appointment with the nurse. Again. This year it's been one thing after another (I'm still coughing a bit from the cold that started last week); I'm starting to feel generally faulty. Did someone not show me the body-owner's manual?
I know the things I've dealt with are nothing compared to long term illnesses, etc, but I hope next year will not be so medically interesting...
I'm trying to cheer myself up by thinking of the blooming waterlilies in the little Japanese garden near work. And as I drove by this morning I could see a bright orange goldfish swimming around, too.

I've been having the same kind of year. I've likened it to being nibbled to death by hamsters. It's never any one catastrophic illness or injury, just a whole lot of stupid little things that sap my strength and use up coping energy and cost me money. Feh!
