Productivity
Aug. 16th, 2002 09:46 amMuch of the stuff spinning through my head yesterday got done.
Last night I made a pasta salad (pasta, leftover tomato feta salad, chives (some over a foot long), olives, the rest of the green and red lettuces) for potluck (everyone else brought pasta or chocolate, too, though no two pasta dishes had the same shape pasta, or the same flavors). I also canned honeyed figs (with a splash of balsamic vinegar). Not sure what I'll do with them yet. I also started a load of laundry.
This morning, I got up early. I got a lot done:
* finished the load of laundry, did 2 more
* stripped the beds, remade with clean sheets
* labeled canned goods (plum and blueberry jams; honeyed figs)
* put away the Pesach dishes
* replaced the bulb in the kitchen light
* straightened every room in the house, getting many more things away than I usually manage
* packed
Scary thought of the day: some people are designing "Shakespeare's World," a theme park. Stratford-on-Avon rejected having it there, so it's going to be somewhere in PA instead.
