Farm share, week 14
Sep. 10th, 2008 07:17 pm- a bunch of kale (yay, lacinato!)
- a head of curly cabbage (the kind that's light green but halfway to bok choi; blanking on the right word)
- a head of garlic
- two hot peppers (a variety of kinds; I avoided the habanero, getting a jalapeno and one other)
- a pound and a quarter of regular peppers (long thin shape, red)
- a third of a pound of mesclun (I could smell the arugula :-)
- a pound of carrots (different colors)
- two and a half pounds of potatoes
- a pound and a half of tomatoes*
* which I carefully didn't put in the big carry-all with the rest, so they wouldn't get squished, and I apparently left them at one of the other errands I ran afterward. And just now, in double checking the rest of the share, I realized that, contrary to my usual custom, I put stuff in with the tomatoes, so I don't have the garlic or hot peppers either. *headbang* I've been paying a lot of stupid tax this month already. It can stop now, please.
