I'm amused by this article comparing Burning Man and Sukkot.
I'm in a crocheting phase again: a blue necklace with green beads Sunday, a black bracelet with silver jingle bells yesterday. Photos to come (hopefully by next week). I think I need to get more jingle bells, given the season.
Yesterday the artist I'd seen on the Longfellow Bridge was down on the pier on the Cambridge side, an umbrella shading him.
Also yesterday, I found a UPS package in the middle of the bridge onramp, looking like it had fallen off a truck. So I brought it to the post office, and after waiting in an interminable line, was told to bring it to UPS (yeah, I should've known). I did. I hope it got to wherever it was going... (possibly Hyde Park, or possibly it was being returned).
Eating food is better than eating nutrients. Nutrition isn't all about reductionist quantifiable science (not at our current level of knowledge, anyway). Confirmation of what I think is always nice. (Thanks to Hrafn for the link.)
Must vote tonight. Would also be good to get next year's parking sticker.
PS. Cambridge is also having an election for a "poet populist." (Not on the city ballot, however.)
