RIP: Marcel Marceau

Oh, no! I just saw that he died last night, and it's hard to imagine. I saw him perform just under three years ago (the perfect early present for my parents' anniversary, since they both adore his work, and they wanted me to come along too :-), and it amazed me how well he moved; I could've imagined him going on (a lot closer to) forever. He has changed an art form, and done it with style and humor. He will be missed.

Not that he was Jewish, but.... the night after Yom Kippur is considered a good time to die, when one's slate is clean, as it were.
