The balloon is back

The hot air* balloon is back on the Common, through this Tuesday. Rides are available, and I'm debating it: $15 for 10 minutes at 350 feet. Up to 5 people can ride at once, and they take reservations for the 7 A.M. and 8 A.M. rides. Of course, there's always the chance that weather will interefere. And the cynical side of me is impressed that they've got people paying for rides while Sovereign Bank has taken on some of the expense (given the huge banners on the balloon), so presumably it's well worth the balloon-people's while.

Still... *ponder*


* It's filled with helium, actually.

edit 9/10 1000 Dessert was macadamia (gazebo!) cookies, which was macadamia butter, sugar, and eggs. And I completely forgot about the cucumber salad in the fridge, so I never served it. *sigh*
