A corn-mushroom not-an-omelette: a small minced onion, julienned shiitakes and hen of the woods, some fresh huitlacoche, two earsworth of corn kernels cut off the cob, fresh sage and chives, and some black pepper, sauteed until friendly. Add eggs, and when mostly done, little pieces of Red Leicester cheese.

This was followed by two squares of Vosges' Black Pearl Bar: 55% dark chocolate, ginger, wasabi, and black sesame seeds.

Yum.

OK, Vosges has some interesting things on their site. Yoga and chocolate classes? Balsamic vinegar and hazelnut truffles? Wink of the rabbit truffles?
