two small grape juices [drunk Sunday latish]
pita [eaten Sunday latish, with eggplant and with tuna]
a can of roasted eggplant [eaten Sunday latish]
a container of baba ganoush [eaten on Shabbat/motzai Shabbat]
a package of vacuum-sealed tuna [eaten Sunday latish]
a box of sesame crackers [partly eaten, rest donated to the con suite]
six veal knishes [eaten]
two heads of red leaf lettuce [partly eaten; rest tossed due to freezing]
a pint of cherry tomatoes [mostly eaten]
sesame salad dressing [used; excess left behind]
two bananas [eaten]
an orange [donated]
four tangelos [donated]
chocolate raspberry gels [a little eaten, rest donated]
almonds and cashews [friends ate half, rest left over]
calmyrna figs [eaten]
dried cherries [friends ate half, rest left over]
two bars of dark chocolate (one pareve, one not)[pareve one eaten, other left over]

Current plans:
a. Stop at Souper Salad to get more greens and salad vegetables. [Got one large salad; it was consumed.]
b. Go to Milk St. for chowder and some other hot/prepared food. [This was not accomplished.]
c. Lunch chez Bursteins: bring knishes, salad, and fruit especially. [Knishes, salad, dressing, and rolls (Tigerbright foisted them on me Friday night) were all happily eaten. Fruit forgotten.]

For comparison, here's last year's list. It looks reasonably comparable, though I'm bringing a bit less this year, especially less cracker-spreads. I'm also anticipating feeding fewer people. In any case, I won't run out of food :-)

[Post-con evaluation in brackets.]

[On the whole, despite Milk St. not being open when I'd thought, I had plenty of food, enough to feed friends snacks, do a cooperative lunch, and donate a bit to the con suite. The blizzard made the timing of the con rather different than expected, though; it would've been far more to carry home had I not stayed so late on Sunday.]

Cheese!

This morning I made my second of four food-acquisition-for-Arisia stops, at the Butcherie, and found new and exciting cheese! English cheese, actually, both Gloucester and Leicester. One of them is double; I don't remember which, nor do I remember the brand, but whee! Cheeses I've read about for years, and I'll finally get to taste them after the con!
(I decided it was unlikely I'd finish them at the con, and I'd rather not have to carry food home again, so after-con it is.)

Not enough sleep + con-excitement = lack of focus at work. Alas.
