Farm share, week 4
Jul. 6th, 2022 06:39 pm- two large heads of Napa cabbage
- two pounds of beets
- a bunch of thyme (swapped for some extra beets)
- a pound of mixed salad greens
- two bunches of greens (kale/collard/Swiss chard; I stuck with kale again)
- six big stalks of broccoli with lots of greens
- six pickling cucumbers
- six smallish summer squashes (I chose a mix of colors, including yellow, green, and variegated)
First thoughts: roasted Napa wedges; dilly cucumber salad; lemon-tahini kale salad; green pizza with pureed basil-scallion-scapes plus broccoli and maybe some summer squash; baked beets with some citrus-y dressing. I need to get some proteins that will inspire me to lettuce-based salad as well.
