Autumn farm share, delivery 1 of 4
Nov. 2nd, 2017 07:24 pmThe fall share is a boxed share with pickup twice in November and twice in December. My pickup is on Thursday afternoons, like the regular season, but a mile and a half away, rather than a quarter of a mile. Luckily it's only uphill on the way to the pickup....
I'm sure there were weights when packing the boxes, but I don't feel like weighing each, so quantities rather than weights for the heavier stuff.
ETA: the not-so-good onion turned out to be worse than I'd realized; only about a quarter of it was useful. And it turned out that about half the rutabaga had black spots inside, too. I've sent an unhappy email to the farm. (One of the honeynuts had a spot on it that meant it needed using nowish, but that was small and easily cut out).
