I have managed, yet again, a stupid injury: I managed to cut my ankle with a table saw blade.
OK, it wasn't completely my fault: the saw blades are usually left by the front desk for pickup to be sharpened/repaired in a closed box screwed to a spindle (ie, safe for transit). This time, someone had a bunch of blades leaning against the box, the outer of which was not encased in anything. It was on a side of the desk that I tend to assume is clear, so when I brushed by, I didn't expect a stack of table saw blades to fall on me. And since the outer one was not protected at all, it managed to abrade my ankle.
It's not a horrible table saw accident (thank goodness!), but it hurts some, and is annoying because it shouldn't have happened.
