Farm share, week 17
Sep. 25th, 2013 06:04 pm- two pounds of potatoes
- one and a quarter pound of onions
- eight orange carrots
- eight tomatillos
- six sweet peppers (mix of bell and long, as well as a variety of colors)
- a head of green cabbage
- two pounds of tomatoes (there were some yellow-green heirlooms, also Roma)
- two heads of romaine lettuce (traded for tomatoes (!!!), since I still have lettuce from last week. Plus, well, tomatoes! I might even have enough to can some.)
- a bowl of greens (there was spinach, also tat soi; I chose the latter, then ended up trading it for more tomatillos: salsa in my future!)
- a bunch of collards or kale (I chose collards)
- a bunch of herbs (I chose dill, thinking of pickles)
- a bunch of Hakurei turnips or red radishes with greens (I chose the turnips)
