Today's kitchen mishap

I was reaching to get the marble mortar and pestle out of a high cabinet, holding an open bag of mustard seeds in my other hand. I missed, and the mortar and pestle fell. I'm not sure of the exact sequence of events, but at least one hit the stove top, something hit my hand, and a lot of the mustard seeds spilled. I now have a bruised knuckle and a lot fewer mustard seeds. On the plus side, the mortar and pestle are fine, as is the stove, and I can now say that I've vacuumed my stove and counter top! (Admittedly, not the whole thing, because I had (covered) pots on two burners, but hey, that just adds to the challenge.)
