+ bike ride on a surprisingly warm day

+ transmogrification of leftovers
+ bike commute
+ Russo's still having cranberries
+ bumper sticker: "Yes, but what about the speed of dark?"
+ new year's eve gathering with with friends I haven't seen in a while
+ finally wearing the embroidered dress, also the gold-edged sheer crimson scarf
– frigid temps making driving a bit challenging
+ hosting Thursday and Shabbat dinner (read: more time with friends)
+ a When Pigs Fly run, including savory cranberry bread
+ a sous chef helping Friday with food prep (thanks again!)
– pie-dropping incident
+ Gang of Four
– not enough exercise later in the week
– still avoiding one or two paperwork things that are edging closer to problematic
– fridge scarily close to bare

Foil pie plate failure, pushed past its weight limits. The remains tasted pretty good (if a little less mushy than I'd prefer for apple pie, but I had to start the chicken in time to be cooked before Shabbat), and the oven is self-cleaning as I type.
