– making it to the one craft fair minutes after they closed

+ the chance to talk with someone's newish S.O. and find that she's not just pretty, but pretty cool, too (ok, anyone who likes kid books is going to start with a positive review :-)
+ an interesting Hanukkah/Xmas day dinner with much Russian
– feeling a bit ill afterward
+ the prettiest wooden dreidl I've seen in a long while
– broken glass container
+ ... while wrapped, so minimal broken glass to clean up
