Query: destination for old magazines?

I'm trying to minimize the clutter around here, and have excavated lots and lots of old magazines (most of them are Hadassah Magazines, with some others to flavor the mix). Does anyone know somewhere local that would like old magazines?

(I've heard that soldiers like reading material, so I could package them up and send them out, but, well, there's a lot of them, and something about picturing soldiers reading Hadassah Magazine seems incongruous, though I think it's a good read.)

Try old age homes and or senior centers. They will often take books etc.
