Cambridge statistics

This site has far too many interesting numbers, statistics about USian municipalities. I had to look up Cambridge, of course, and the wealth of numbers and graphs is lovely (oh, the word problems I could write :-).

And they have lists of top cities for a zillion different criteria (mostly for cities with population greater than 50,000, some lists for cities with greater than 5,000, or counties).

According to them, Cambridge is/has:

• 27th in housing density
  
• part of the 57th highest rated county for people exercising in the last month (The Snarkmonster asks: how can hale people not have exercised at least once in the last month?)
  
• part of the 27th highest rated county for general health status
  
• 4th in people having doctorates
  
• 35th in bicyle commuters
  
• 17th in people taking the subway to work
  
• 54th in people walking to work
  
• 27th in car-free people
  
• 77th largest Ethiopian-born population in the U.S.
