Benazir Bhutto was assassinated.

I remember a much-younger me being happy that a woman could have political power in a Muslim country, and I'm sad she's had to pay the ultimate price.

Whoa! I heard about the bombing on the news this morning; nothing about assassination, however, was at the time being reported. Oh my.
