Upcoming show I definitely will go to: the Mikvah Project is at the Mayyim Hayyim Gallery December through February, with an opening reception this Sunday, 5-6:30. I saw slides of some photos and heard some stories told by Leah Lax this summer at NHC, and I definitely have to go.
Also way cool hand-made globes (there's an Alice one, even!). Almost-lost words. And T-shirts for foodies of various sorts. Tangentially related, I syndicated a feed for
jcarrot, the Jew and the Carrot, an ethical kosher food blog. So far I'm fascinated by the debate over schecting a goat at the Hazon food conference next weekend (and wishing I'd not waited to long to try to sign up; I've never eaten goat!).
