Stuff of the short variety
Nov. 27th, 2007 12:17 pmThe Hazon ride I've been considering is May 20-27. The registration fee goes up December 1, and there's an information meeting in Boston... on December 2. I keep waffling: it's a lot of money to raise, and getting into bike shape over the winter isn't so trivial either. But it would be great to do...
*waffle waffle waffle*
A recipe for ho-dduk (Korean filled dessert pancakes) that I will probably not make for Hanuka, even though they sound lovely and appropriate. (I'm too lazy a cook.)
I have a bound, faux leather 2008 calendar, week at a view, with stuff like maps at the back. I have a calendar already; anyone want it? (I know, everyone uses gcalendar now....)
Annoying things: book pages without folios (not the title page or before), too warm office buildings, my apparent inability to go to bed when first tired.
Good things: unexpected socks, crocheting a silly scarf, new books to read, interesting email, snail mail that isn't junk.
Thanksgiving-themed math: how to make a pie-cosahedron
What I want from Google maps: a reverse address lookup, so if I can find the building on the map, it'll tell me what the street address is. (I have a hard time remembering street names and such, but have a good sense of direction.)

That is an impressive pie project.
