From the last week or so, in no particular order:

• an unexpected piece of Powell's (in the form of a T-shirt)
  
• role-playing after too many weeks' hiatus
  
• acquiring interesting fabric things at the Garment District
  
• getting more done on a sewing project
  
• crocheting new jewelry
  
• the thoughtfulness of kosher wedding leftovers being offered at an open house/potluck
  
• discussions of Moebius strips and things that glow in the dark
  
• hugs, many and varied
  
• learning how to be a runner at an auction
  
• and learning how to fold a kimono
  
• giving away much chocolate-covered ginger
  
• and giving away four crocheted bracelets
  
• a new-to-me newly spray-painted shirt
  
• meeting many interesting people
  
• a hike around the falls in Newton
  
• tomato sandwiches
  
• being sent flowers (by a vendor; purple freesia plus a white plush bear)
  
• finding interesting metal moop on my walks
  
• a postcard from Japan
