Morning commute notes
Oct. 23rd, 2007 09:54 amAnother turkey sighting this morning, the first that I could call "napping turkey, walking commuters."
On the unfortunate side, it was a multiple-ambulance morning. There were two (plus a fire department van) in front of the Volpe Center when I went by, and another with its siren on going by Boston Common.
Also, another movie filming day downtown; Commonwealth Ave. was lined with all sorts of their trucks (though I might not have noticed had a truck on the cross street not been for a movie lighting firm).
And high 60s in late October is just wrong, no matter how much people like wearing short sleeves. This level of humidity is supposed to be done for the year, too. I want my regularly scheduled autumn!
