Food for Shabbat
Jun. 1st, 2007 07:37 pmI was invited out for Shabbat dinner. Yay!
For lunch/other meal, I have:
grape liquid, bread
hummus (and tomatoes! hummus and tomato sandwiches!)
artichokes
corn and bean salad with red pepper, scallions, and a cumin-y dressing
dry-fried sugar snap peas
orange turkey, which means turkey thighs baked with onion, sweet potato, diced orange, dried peaches, dried apricots, fresh peaches, fresh nectarines, balsamic vinegar, and black pepper
diced beets and sweet potatoes sauteed with cayenne
strawberries and other fresh fruit
And I just got word that the eruv is up. Shabbat shalom, y'all.
