-two eights getting close enough that their oars tangled, one of them having an oar 'crab'
-seeing a men's eight being towed, holding onto a rope while a support launch pulled them along (according to Theora, they'd still be able to row even if the rudder went wrong, so no clue why they'd be towed)
-different rhythms of rowing, some smoother than others
-the beauty of rowers in sync gliding through the water
-the patterns of puddles in the water in the rowers' wakes

I walked about 8 miles, which should make up some for yesterday's complete laziness.
