Shabbat dinner menu
May. 26th, 2006 06:45 pm- challah (mostly white flour, some rye, multigrain flakes, oat bran, and flaxseed meal, no sweetener)
- grape drink
- salmon fillets roasted with cranberry chutney
- roasted cauliflower
- roasted ratatouille (onion, garlic, eggplant, zucchini, grape tomatoes)
- green salad (greens, grape tomatoes, caramelized onions, asiago slivers, and chives with flowers, plus a balsamic vinaigrette)
- vanilla truffles
- pear biscuits (four diced pears sauteed with brown sugar, a bit of olive oil, black pepper, minced fresh lavender, then walnuts and 0.25 tsp triple-fold vanilla added, topped with slightly sweetened drop biscuits and baked)
- fresh pineapple (and possibly strawberries)
