Date: 2006-02-04 11:18 pm (UTC)Spicy almond noodles are Asian noodles (I like the fresh ones, but didn't have a chance to get any this time) with a dressing of almond butter Szechuan spicy sauce (SanJ brand), and a bit of water mixed into them.
The soup was a basic chicken soup (onions, chicken, sweet potatoes instead of carrots) simmered with lime juice, chunks of ginger, black pepper, a touch of cayenne, scallions, aging spinach leaves, and dumplings cooked at the end.
