Just got a call from the department admin: next week's department breakfast is being catered by Milk St.! I can eat whatever I want!

Other recent good things: a cheap haircut that came out decently, invigorating conversations, meals out with friends, a chutney compliment from an orker (and her boyfriend), splurging on fun remaindered yarn and little boxes.

Where'd you get the haircut? I desperately need the ends of my hair trimmed.

I went to the Supercuts down the street from work, near Trader Joe's (side note: I had good luck, but some online reviews of the place were less than complimentary. My hair is pretty easy, and all I wanted was a blunt cut.).
I think there's still one in Harvard Square, which might be more convenient for you?
